Mrs. Dana has been a preschool teacher since 1990 when she began working at Longview Church of God in their daycare and after care programs. In 1994, she moved to St. Andrew's Methodist Church Preschool and worked there for 9 years. Beginning in 2005, she worked at First Baptist Church Preschool for 3 years. Mrs. Dana is retiring from Sacred Heart School after 18 additional years as a preschool teacher.
From 1990 to 2026, with a few breaks, Mrs. Dana has worked as a preschool teachers for a total of 34 years. We know so many parents and kids are thankful to have had Mrs. Dana as their first teacher, their preschool teacher, and their favorite teacher.
What makes Mrs. Dana such an excellent preschool teacher? Because first, Mrs. Dana is the best mom and grana. She and her husband Paul have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and four granddaughters. Her family is regularly spoiled with gifts and she loves to show up to all of the piano recitals, soccer games, dance programs, and graduations. Mrs. Dana comes from a big family and loves all of her siblings, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
In addition to working in daycares and preschools, Mrs. Dana is also a faithful Christian. She grew up attending Bowman's Chapel in Trimble and has been a long-time member of St. Andrew's Methodist Church. She taught Sunday School, led crafts at VBS, and has been a wonderful example of a quiet and strong faith.
